Coronavirus update from Thorlux

Thorlux continues to work hard to maintain all business activities and ensure the best possible service for its customers. Our factory presently operates at full capacity, using COVID-secure methods, adhering to all guidelines issued by the Government and Public Health England.

The health and safety of both our employees and visitors remains paramount, and the company is ensuring that those working on site follow strict hygiene and social distancing guidelines and receive support to do their jobs safely. In light of the recent surge in cases, Thorlux has taken further action to reduce the risk of spread of infection. The company has purchased a significant number of lateral flow test kits and all employees based at the Redditch site are now being offered a weekly Covid-19 test to reduce the risk of transmission of the virus. All 256 employees tested last week tested negative and we will retest again this week and over the next month, when the situation will be further reviewed.
